While the name Francis Building Solutions has served the business well, Callum’s decision to step away from it comes from a place of humbleness. Rather than placing himself front and centre of the business, Callum wants to acknowledge the team, the people who give the business their all by delivering excellence every single day.
And so, Callum has opted to rebrand the business, focussing not on himself but on the collective effort the team makes. He’s proud of the business and he hopes the team feels included, valued and equally proud.
The Waikuku Connection
OK, be honest. Who read Park Terrace Construction and thought we’d moved the business to the inner-city street overlooking Christchurch’s Hagley Park?! You couldn’t be more wrong!
As Callum will explain, it’s named for Waikuku’s Park Terrace, just a couple of streets back from the slice of paradise that is Waikuku Beach. Rated as one of Canterbury’s best beaches, Waikuku is the place of Callum’s childhood. Raised and schooled in nearby Rangiora, this is where he swam and surfed, idled away his teenage years and planned for the future.
